World Malaria Day
World Malaria Day is an international observance commemorated every year on 25 April and recognizes global efforts to control malaria. Globally, 3.3 billion people in 106 countries are at risk of malaria.

In Ayiko we are equipped to handle any malaria case - Mild or severe. Prevent Malaria, sleep under a net and get immediate medical attention.

Who are we?
Teresa Ayiko International Hospital (Ayiko Hospital) is a Private-Not-For-Profit general Hospital that arose from a needs assessment conducted by the Rotary Club of Gulu in partnership with Alliance for African Assistance, Ker Kwaro Atiak and the local community.
The hospital is owned by Alliance for African Assistance, the land donated by the community and the medical equipment donated by Rotary International.
What do we do?
Ayiko Hospital, operating as a general hospital, aims to serve the communities of Atiak and the neighbours in providing health services to improve the overall wellbeing (both health and economical) of the communities.
How we do?
Ayiko Hospital being a Private-Not-for-Profit ensures that the cost of services is subsidized and affordable.
Where are we?
Ayiko Hospital is located 64km from Gulu City and 6km from Atiak Centre on the Gulu - Juba road, Amuru District, Northern Uganda.
