Today , we hosted VSO , our core partners in implementing the Intersectionalized Community Scorecard among two selected health centers of Mugoye and Kasekulo during the Make Way Program.
We had a close-out meeting at both health facilities and celebrated our achievements/milestones.
Through our implementation , we have achieved quite a lot including building the capacities of the youth to be in position to demand for what they deserve hence enjoy their SRHR without major hindrances .
Joint monitoring Committees were formed that involve the youth , the health workers and another Health Unit Management Committee was formed in the due course .

Together with our partners VSO , we have held an engagement meeting with different district stakeholders and technical groups in the islands of Kalangala strategizing forpathways for advancing SRHR for marginalized young people here in the islands .
Ours is to ensure there is improved access to quality SRHR youth friendly services for young people in kalangala district.

MULTI STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENTS.

Today, we continue to engage with different stakeholders in Mugoye Sub county , Kalangala island district including political leaders, duty bearers , religious and cultural leaders, Human rights defenders and other decision makers on their roles in ensuring young people can fully enjoy their SRHR without facing any hindrances.
Many recommendations have been gathered and pledges to take these into practice is upon every stakeholder.
All with support from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This aimed at providing a platform for minoritized youth in the far end islands to share lived experiences, share knowledge about their SRHR and also additionally advocate for improved SRHR policies that favor them.
