Happy 1st of September!
I love this month back in the uk it’s the start of my favourite season when all the leaves start to change colour & the start of the new academic year, so it sort of feels like a new start.

Camel pose one of my favourites, as we spend most of the day with our back hunched forward. Camel pose is a heart-opener. The Heart Chakra (Anahata) is said to be tied to your sense of compassion, love, acceptance and forgiveness. This posture encourages us to open up in those areas of our life. Urgent help needed! why when new leaves grow on my cheese plant they are all soft and floppy? I have asked Google & Siri and they say yo keep it moist, I’ve tried talking to it kindly & crossly cleaning the leaves with milk using coffee in the soil as advised. Nothing works it’s still floppy! 😩 any advice welcome! Come on you are the plant whisperer..

If you’re like most people, you probably spend a little too much time hunched over a smartphone or other mobile devices, doing everything from socializing with friends to setting up important meetings. Unfortunately, this overuse can put your neck at an increased risk for poor posture and a painful condition commonly called “text neck.”

Practice good posture

The average head weighs 10 to 12 pounds. But did you know that weight more than doubles when your head is tilted forward just 15 degrees? Worse yet, many people who text with their chin near the neck are tilting the head forward 60 degrees, which increases the load to about 60 pounds.

Performing some neck exercises and stretches on a daily basis can help treat text neck as well as reduce the risk of painful recurrences. When your neck muscles are strong and flexible, they’re better able to hold good posture and less likely to have a painful spasm, Pilates can help creating long strong muscles and improving posture you can also have a course of massage treatments working on the stiff muscles in the neck and shoulders using a range of acupressure techniques.

I love to collect magical things, these can include anything that makes you happy I have a piece of coral in the shape of a rabbit that my friend found on the beach in Thailand. These magical things have no financial value but they are priceless to me they make my soul sing and my heart full of joy.

Setting up for pregnancy massage side lying position.

As you the baby grows during pregnancy it’s really hard to get comfortable, what’s the best position to sleep in?

Doctors generally recommend sleeping on your side during pregnancy it’s more comfortable as your abdomen grows, especially on the left side as this allows maximum blood flow to the foetus & also improves your kidney function.
One choice is to place a pillow between your knees and under your abdomen this can create a bit of a tilt to help you sleep more comfortably.
