TREATMENT TO BLOOD PRESSURE
What are the symptoms of high blood pressure?
Most people who have high blood pressure do not have symptoms. This is why it’s sometimes called “the silent killer.” It is very important to have your blood pressure checked regularly.
Some people experience headaches, nosebleeds, or shortness of breath with high blood pressure. However, those symptoms can mimic many other things (serious or non-serious). Usually, these symptoms occur once blood pressure has reached a dangerously high level over a period of time.
Common factors that can lead to high blood pressure include:
1.A diet high in salt, fat, and/or cholesterol.
2.Chronic conditions such as kidney and hormone problems, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
3.Family history, especially if your parents or other close relatives have high blood pressure.
4.Lack of physical activity.
5.Older age (the older you are, the more likely you are to have high blood pressure).
6.Being overweight or obese.
7.Race (non-Hispanic black people are more likely to have high blood pressure than people of other races).
8.Some birth control medicines and other medicines.
9.Stress.
10.Tobacco use or drinking too much alcohol
