There are many benefits of using signs with your child including;

1.Reduces communication frustration. Babies are more likely to have meltdowns when they struggle to communicate they want or need. By helping your child communicate, you will decrease frustration involved.
2.A way for a parent to communicate and connect with their child who is not speaking.
...who is not speaking.
3.Increases parent's attention to and awareness of child's non verbal communication which is important to your child's language development because you will be more responsive.The more responsive you are, the more likely your child is going to communicate.

Please take note a child with a tongue tie can still speak though with articulation issues and feeding difficulties since the tongue has reduced mobility around the oral cavity.
