JOB 1:1-5

“THE MYSTRIES OF GOD IN THE BOOK OF JOB”
Praise the lord, Brothers& Sisters. If we look into the lives of different people, and their relationship with the Almighty God. This enables us receive a clear picture of the heavenly secrets. Many people made their own righteousness to please God and walk in it. But because according to almighty God our righteousness is dirty and of Satan, so they couldn’t be able to please God. Instead God wanted such people to drop their own righteousness especially which come from the law so that; they obtain the one from Jesus Christ through heeding the gospel of forgiveness of sin & to receive salvation. But some people leave the justification of Jesus Christ which is for free resulting from His grace and choose to struggle by keeping the laws to be righteous before God. This is wrong!! The good example is the Israel law teacher who came to Jesus in Luke 10:25 and asked!
“What must I do to inherit the eternal life?”
For some one who is in Jesus to receive eternal life, he just obtain it from Jesus freely but this man choose to struggle by himself to observe the laws of Moses so that eternal life may come to him as a result! When Jesus replied to the lawyer’s question that,” how do you read it?” But the lawyer’s response clearly showed us the position of his heart and life that despite the existence of our Lord Jesus Christ, his mercy from which we have rest from our struggle, but this man continued to struggle to keep the law written in the books of Moses. When he was asked by Jesus answered: Luke 10:27 it says;
“Love the lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and love your neighbor as you love yourself. It is heard as this man was talking uprightly but by observing the above law, is like doing the work which was already done by Jesus because he came to fulfill the demands of the law on our behalf so that we only rest in him. Amen. If you abandon the righteousness of God and try to work out your own righteousness, (by keeping laws) the righteousness you obtain is not of God but yours (Satan). How ever you appear to be good to people, but still the lord demands you to obtain his own righteousness through accepting Jesus Christ his son. (Roman 10:2, 3, 4) it says;
”For I can testify about them that, they are zealous for God but their zeal is not based from knowledge since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. Paul the apostle witnessed! Here it means that much as you want to worship God and have become a born again, ask God also to reveal to you the secrets of his heart, type of his righteous so that you walk on the right truck. But not to appear walking in faith of God and instead using your own truck. (Which is your righteousness?) many people because of having been not revealed the two types of righteousness ended up mixing them which eventually kills their life of faith as born again Christian. JOB 1:1-5
This chapter clearly shows that, this Job was a good man and it appears that this man had the righteousness of God. Especially when you read verse “1” it reads; There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job and that man was blameless and upright and one who fear God & shunned evil! If we read this verse, we are bound to the fact that, this man pleased God because;
- He was blameless
- He was upright
- Feared God
- Shunned evil
-
But as you continue reading the message of God in this book, you’re clearly revealed with the heart of God in this chapter by the spirit of God. Then although Job seemed to be a good man and righteousness before God to some of us, but his righteousness was not of God. When God tested him by way of allowing Satan to him, he had no faith instead his heart was full of complaining (sin). With our own righteousness, our lord cannot own us as his sons. But unless we drop our righteousness like Job in Job 9:1-2 we cannot obtain that of Jesus Christ which is unconditional like that of the law. Job 9:1-2 it says; Then Job replied that, indeed I know that this is true. But how can a mortal be righteous before God. This time Job had broken his heart before God & also found his position before God that, is a sinner & he who dies cannot be righteous before God Amen. I praise the lord that Job found himself & accepted the word of God. Also you accept the word of God if you are a sinner will be justified by Jesus Christ & be blessed like Job. So because we looked at Job out word not using the heart of God, we straight away believe him to be Godly! God wants us minus our thoughts be there good or bad because our thoughts, are our righteousness and Isaiah 64:6 it says; “But we are all like unclean things and all our righteousness are like filthy rags, we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind have taken us away”. This verse refers to the way we think as opposing the way of God! He sorrows us our selves in Mathew 7:17 it says; Even say, every good tree bears good fruits but a bad tree bears bad fruits” so Job and Mark 7:21 God continue to show the fruits of our hearts and are;
- Evil thoughts - Pride -Adulteries - Foolishness
- Fornication - courteousness -Murder - Wickedness
- Theft - deceit -Evil eye - Blasphemy
God wants us to accept that our hearts are evil continually so that his grace through which the evil ones are sanctified comes. But Job in chapter 10:7 it says; “Although you know that am not wicked” this is the statement from Job talking of his heart if you compare it with Mark 7:21 Job is against the word of God. But my brothers and sisters there are many of us who have thoughts like Job some churches believe like that and followers. What does God want us to? Is to break our hearts and and admit to his words and submit to it. E.g. Genesis 6:5 it says;
The lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually” so Job and you! But you don’t admit this because you see your habit is good for;
- you give, share with one another
- you offer in church
- you tithe
- you fast, etc. These appear like good and they are, but your thought presents you a good one before God because of this the work which makes us to be good before God is not done by our selves but by God. Only God accepts the righteousness made by him through his son Jesus Christ Amen. In this, the afflictions to Job continued until when he breaks his heart and admit the word of God which makes him a sinner etc although he first established himself not wicked. We can see how Job’s hypocrisy words to his friend & how affliction continued. In this time, the friend of Job came to fellowship with him showing him his position before God (evil) but instead he became good until when God himself appeared to him in the whirl wind & say in Job 40:7, 8 it says; “God tells Job that “now prepare yourself like a man. I will question you & you will answer me. Would you indeed annual my judgment? God asks him”. Would you condemn me that, you may be justified? Remember my brothers and sisters many judgments are written but in the Roman 3:10 it says; as if it is written;
- There is none righteous no not one;
- There is none who understands;
- There is none who seeks after God;
- They have all turned aside;
- They have together become unprofitable;
- There is none who does good, no not are;

Job is one of them but God asks us that, if we say we are not like this above verse it means that God is a liar so that we become the true or holding the truth. If such questions from God comes to you what is your answer? And it is before you now. For along time, you have been justifying your self but now the question; Job 40:8, Job 41 whole Job. But lets look at the answer from Job and see whether he still insist on his own righteousness or his goodness; this one will tell us whether at the beginning Job was righteous or good before God; because while his friends fellowshipped with him; he refused to connect his heart to them! But with God he answered and says Job 42:6 it says, “Therefore i abhor my self and repent in dust and ashes”
In many verses, Job never uttered this statement before”. This was what God was demanding from Job! Then after this statement from Job;
Job 42:10 it says:-
And God restored Jobs losses, indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Lets consider Job before his repentance, did the affliction stopped? No why, because affliction brings us closer to repentance. 2 Corinthians 7:10 it says:-“For Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation not to be regretted: But the sorrow of the world produces death”. According to this verse, situations and problems we come across in Jesus Christ our Lord do not think that God can’t see; No He sees and let them to us because through such experience, our hearts are broken until we reach to repentance. If we receive salvation, it is a step but God wants us to go to another step of having faith in the mysteries of God and to have knowledge of heavenly Noms, this makes our faith stead fast. In the life of Job at first was following his thoughts and trusting his flesh and keeping the laws; because he did not know the mysteries and Noms of God. That, God rebukes whom he wants as a friend! There are people who lives like the life of Jo b after his repentance to receive his sin forgiven and to receive salvation from God. At this level not like before this when Job was complaining and cursed the Lord when he was afflicted but how ever much he complained the affliction continued until when he did what was needed by God! To repent after repenting he pleased and was received by God. Let us know that some problems comes when God rebuke us and others come when God brings them to break our hearts to repent to him so that he gives us what is so precious which is eternal salvation. We have also to be bold and stead fast in our faith in God through Jesus Christ to look up on God if we experience or enter in such situation so that he overcome us the fear that satan bring and not to perish in that same fear but to live a happy life. Proverbs 17:22 it says: - For a cheerful heart is good medicine but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” and also looking up on God is good which God wants us to do in Gal 6:9. Says “Let us not become weary in doing good for the proper time, we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up “. The spirit of God testifies to us about the life of Job so that we do not trust in our selves our own righteous because it is of Satan. But to trust our Lord who freely gives us his righteousness which present us to our father God.
