With 50 dollars a poor and vulnerable family receives medical insurance cover for a year. Out of pocket funding is the biggest source of financing health care in Uganda. A lot of families experience catastrophic health expenditure and fall into or deeper onto poverty. The community health insurance schemes help protect such families but unfortunately a number of these families are too poor to afford the premium and as such remain outside. When you donate 10 dollars, you will have enabled one family to receive medical insurance cover for a year. Please support
