MERITS OF JUMMAH PRAYER

Know, O dear brother/sister, that Jummah day is a holy day. God honoured Islam therewith and gave glory to the Muslims. God Says: When there is Azan for prayer on the Jummah day, run towards remembrance of God and give up buy and sale. The Prophet Said: God has made compulsory on you on this day of mine and in this place of mine. The Prophet Said: If a man loses three Jummah's without any excuse, God puts a seal in his mind. In another narration: He throws Islam on his back. The Prophet Said: Gabriel came to me with a clean mirror in his hand and said: This is Jummah. God has made it obligatory on you, so that it may be a festival for you and after you for your followers. I Said: What good there is for us in it? He Said: You have got an suspicious time in it. If a man seeks anything to God at this time, God has promised that He will give it to him. If he is deprived of that, many additional things are given to him in that connection. If any man wants to save himself from any evil on that day, God saves him from a greater calamity or a like calamity which has been decreed on him. Jummah day is the best day to us and we shall call it on the Resurrection day as the day of grace. I asked him: What object is there in calling it as the day of grace? He Said: Your God has made a valley in paradise made of white musk. When the Jummah day comes, God descends on His Throne in Illyyin and sheds His lusture and they look on towards His august face. The Prophet Said: The sun rose for the first time on the best Jummah day and Hazrat Adam was created on that day. He entered paradise first on that day and he was thrown in to this world on that day and his pensance was accepted on that day. He died on this day and Resurrection will take place on this day. This day is a day of blessing to God. The heavens and angels have been given names on this day. There is a Hadith that God will release six lacs of men from Hell on this day. The Prophet Said: When the Jummah day is safe, all the days remain safe. He said: If a man dies on the Jummah day or night, the rewards of one martyrdom are written for him and the punishment of grave is forgiven.

اللهم أنت الغني في وحدانيتك بالذات، المنفرد في تنزيه النعوت والصفات، المغني عن التحقيق في الأزل والأبد، الأحد الفرد الصمد، أسألك بغنى ذاتك وتنزه صفاتك، أن تكشف لي عن أحوال المحدثات، وأن تغني ذاتي بالتوحيد إلى ذاتك، وتطهر صفاتي بتنزه صفاتك يا غني، اللهم أنت الغني أغنيت من شئت من عبادك بالعرض الفاني، وأغنيت من شئت بالبقاء بلذيذ المعاني، أغنيت أهل الدنيا بوجود المال، وأغنيت أهل الأخرة بحسن التوجه بالتوحيد إليك والنوازل في المآل، وأن تغنيني بغناك في كل أوان، يا الله يا آخر يا ظاهر يا باطن، يا مغني يا ذا الجلال والإكرام، يا رحمن يا رحيم.

ما من عبد لازم على هذا الذكر، إلا أغناه الله تعالى عن خلقه، وأعطاه القناعة التامة.
There is no servant who adheres to this remembrance, except that Allah the Most High will enrich him from His creation and grant him complete contentment.
