Here's a simple recipe for a delicious tofu stir-fry:
Ingredients:
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
- 2 cups of mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high.
2. Cook tofu until golden; set aside.
3. Stir-fry onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
4. Add mixed veggies and cook until tender.
5. Return tofu, add soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and ginger. Stir-fry everything together.
6. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Serve over rice or noodles.
