this is what yu have been waiting for the curriculum is ni its final stages and hear this,
1. the course is going to be a modular course this means you can study nutrition and have a rest or nursing and you get a certificate
2. if you finish first year you will get a certificate and go and practice like wise if you finish second year.
Note the is no boi-chem or gross anatomy.

we need to do some thing before clinical medicine and community health goes down the drain.
can you imagine clinical offices being examined on dummies can you take history from a dummy and these so called allied professionals sit and stay.

the core implementors of all programes related to health in the sub saharan africa are clinical officers helped by nurses
its unfortunate that the latter have no voice over policies yet the nurses do.

maternal morality is reduced by 10% by midwives 15% by clinical officer because they are the highly trained officails at the center level and they back up midwives since the midwives are few and c.os are good managers.
