Vitamin B12 is very important in the process of making Red blood cells, which have Haemoglobin a haem containing protein that gives red blood cells and blood it's red colour
Hemoglobin in important in carrying Oxygenated blood to body organs and tissues and carrying Carbon dioxide from the tissues to the lungs.
Deficiency in Vitamin B12 causes Pernicious Anaemia characterised by Megaloblastic cells
Symptoms of megaloblastic anaemia include:
