Are you partying without wine?

Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. 3 And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” John 2:2-3

When the wine is out the party comes to an end, some of us are in relationships that are dead, there is no more wine and you feel like giving up. Stop acting like the party is still on tell Jesus about your situation, He knows how to turn water into wine.

Verse 5 - His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

God has a word for your situation, for that marriage that is falling apart, for that relationship that is keeping you in sin, for that thing that was fun and has now become an addiction. It could be your personal relationship with the LORD that needs new wine.

Get the WORD and do whatever He says to you. It is never too late to have the best wine.

DON’T YOU THINK NOW IS THE TIME FOR YOU TO GET FIXED?

He will not be afraid of bad news. His heart is strong because he trusts in the Lord. - Psalm 112:7

Even now when the lock-down is relaxed still the ministry of health and the media will tell you in advance to prepare for the third wave and of course they will make it clear how that will even be more deadly than the second wave. This is one of the examples of the trending bad news.

Some of the bad news may seem like not close to us but then you get a report that one of your relatives is very sick or has even passed on, there is a salary cut or even a restructure just at the time when prices are shooting up. And some of us have reached a point of not answering our phones at certain hours simply because we are overwhelmed of the bad news. There even people we know that if he is the one calling obviously it is bad news.

Here in Psalm 112:7, we see that if our hearts are firmly fixed on the Lord we will not fear bad news. We have to grow to a level where we are confident in God’s goodness to wards us and not anticipate misfortunes. The bad news may come as even the best man is not exempted from them; but we will choose not to meet them half-way. When they come let them find our hearts fixed and settled on a sure basis trusting in the LORD who is solid and immovable.

Instead of us being moved we need to get fixed and these are the three simple ways we can get our hearts fixed on the Lord today.

1. Search for the promises of God in His Word and believe them. We will take Him at His Word and feast on His faithfulness. He has always proved to us that He is faithful.

2.Get your excitement in the LORD. Let us enjoy the personal relationship with Him. Through that our desires will match His desires and He will give us what we desire most.

3. Let us give God the right to direct our lives, in other words let Him be the LORD of your life. Let us honor His Word that when He says do not do that, we do not even have to debate about it and as we trust Him along the way we will find that He will pull it off perfectly.

Now you might be there and you do not even have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you are wondering how you are going to go through life. Your life is full of fear because of the bad news all around. It is not too late for you to get right with God. Now is the time just say this prayer of salvation and surrender your life to Jesus:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen

How does it look like to mind your own business?

that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, ~ 1 Thessalonians 4:11

Today there are many things seeking for our attention, from the gossip shows on television, work related issues like non performing workmates, religious debates and many more... There is always a temptation for you and me to give our opinion on things that do not build us up and end up feeling empty.

There is much more we can do only by focusing on the priorities. Mind your own business and finish that book you started writing, that business proposal that has not left the shelf, call that relative who needs an encouragement today...

All we need is Jesus Christ to heal our land and we believe that His promise is going to come to pass. It is only His divine healing power that is going to turn things around.

Let us believe His WORD, pray for one another, observe the SOPs, share the good news of our friends and relatives who have been healed.

Do not forget, Jesus still heals, it shall be well for us ~Shalom.
