HEALUS PHYSICAL THERAPY LTD

HEALUS PHYSICAL THERAPY LTD Our patients come in clinic with lots of conditions that we help them feel better about and heal from. We help when nothing else does

Ranging from hard to resolve back pain, knee and shoulder pain, sports injuries, children with delayed development, etc. Patients come to clinic with different conditions and ailments that we help them feel better about and heal from. Ranging from lower back pain, chronic joint pains, sports injuries , children with development delays etc
All the names and "syndromes" given to them or how you feel are not to really be scared about or think it's hard for you to heal as they are just coping strategies for your beautiful nervous system to protect and save you, depending on where you are in life and what you are doing (activity)! Your nervous system, which helps you navigate the rigors of life safely is sometimes overwhelmed, like life can happen, it can run out of resources to support your well-being and end up using a coping strategy.
- To give you awareness of what could be going on with your emotional body and energy system.
- To protect your visceral organs and remind you that some of your physiology (the functions of your body) needs some attention, talk about your diet and nutrition, hormones, neurotransmitters etc
- To protect you from further injuring yourself when some of your joints, fascial systems and receptors are not working optimally. So kind of a sign that some stuff that makes you a whole human being, mind-body-soul is out of balance... so our treatment is based on RESTORING BALANCE in your nervous system so you can feel safe again. We use some gentle non-painful tools to check where the leaks are in your system and then help you patch it up so you are good to go, so we don't care what "syndrome" it is that has proven too hard to get you feeling better, we just want to address your nervous system and everything will fall away, sometimes it's such a magical feeling . Let us know how we can help, doesn't matter if you have , "been around the world and you still cannot find your body......"

I had someone who was wheeled in on a hospital stretcher two days after getting involved in an accident where he fell on his left thigh and now it's numb, incredibly painful, tender to touch, swollen and unable to move at all.
I utilised a number of methods to work with his nervous system in a safe way and reduce that painful experience for him. Three sessions and three days later with him, he is able to move himself around on crutches. His general pain is about 70% better, his knee has got back 90% function and his family is super thankful for the quick progress!
It's amazing how much can happen when you work with the nervous system to bring about change.

A lady walked in over the weekend barely able to walk after getting involved in an accident a week ago and now has debilitating back pain. She could not easily get up from lying as it was super uncomfortable. I noticed we could not go deep into investigative work and we just needed to calm down her discomfort. I used Craniosacral Therapy nervous system tone down techniques and the axial skeleton. Also used dermoneuromodulation to tone down some of the nociception. She got up, told me she couldn't feel her discomfort anymore and happily disappeared into the weekend 😀

I had a patient the other day who had pain on the outside of the thigh and hip mainly felt during walking an standing for long... painkillers were giving him temporary relief and he had to stay on them to feel better...I saw him twice initially but we were not getting far as he was energetically blocking my assessment process...and the indicator kept flaking and shutting down.
I then used a movement assessment to check that hip and he could not get up at all into half kneeling while loading the symptomatic knee. I switched to self testing and it led me to issues in his knee, I balanced out the ligaments and had him repeat the movement, which he passed with flying colors and no discomfort. The knee problem he did not know he had was causing hip issues. Later he said he fell down on that side two weeks before.

I have treated many sportspeople, basketballers and footballers especially. They frequently present with knee injuries. These are high impact sports and need a lot of stability and strength. Local sportsmen lack these as they hardly train and prepare their bodies well enough. Knee stability depends on how the feet can navigate the ground well enough and how the hips and core are able to stabilize and translate muscular force production.
I treated a gentleman yesterday who had twisted his knee and we had to normalize the knee ligaments that were injured in the process. His knee movements felt much better and he will continue with the homework as later on we will investigate and help him work on why his knee easily gave way.

A patient of mine I had seen a week ago with left lower leg pain mimicking sciatica radiating down the leg came back with his discomfort mostly improved and just at a 4/10 now after we had worked on the limbic aspects of his issues.
I assessed and his bilateral leg drive was the remaining hypertonic movement component. It was related to a structural component which was on his anterior left hip area. He sits a lot driving so he had issues with his hip. I found the pubofemoral ligament the primary issue and needed pairing with the iliofemoral ligament. That restored balance in his leg drive functionality and his issues! Looking forward to his further progress!

So I saw a gentleman yesterday with sciatica like symptoms down his left leg and left lower back. He drives a lot and feels most of the discomfort in sitting. He has suffered from this for 3 years. Using the assessment template of Dynamic Neuromuscular Assessment, I found his left sacrospinalis, bilateral leg drive and his cough reflex ( core stabilisation) all functional dysfunctional (fxdx) related to a limbic issue. We paired the limbic to an organ( colon). We then worked with the emotion that showed up and allowed his nervous system to reset. We reassessed and everything was responding normally now. He said he has never felt as relaxed as he felt after the work and he felt his body let go of the issues he was feeling 😀😀

Treated a patient with a left footed bunion. He complained of too much pain while walking, he was actually limping. Since the pain was too much, I began with a gentle approach. I used indicator testing to assess his entire core. I found many components out of balance with structural correlations. I then assessed the big toe M-P joint for compression and decompression while noting nervous system response. It preferred decompression with adduction. Everything else came back online and his walking was much better. He then told me all his shoes are narrow at the front. So he will be changing footwear to give his toes space to spread.

I had a female patient come to me having problems with her stomach ulcers and headaches. She had seen many specialists but wanted me to find out what could be happening.
I did assessment and mapping with DNA found predominantly physiological correlations and to the stomach meridian channel. That meridian was not the priority and paired to an event. We did some work with some of things that came up for her and that normalised her nervous system response. She felt light and her issues were not felt. Am glad to see how she works her way through this.

So I got a patient with left sided low back pain coming down to the thigh. He had tried massage, pain killers and random exercise with no relief. He decided to try something else.
Using my indicator, I found the problem was structural and this led me to the left foot. We paired the calcaneofibular ligament to the opposite tibiocalcaneal ligament. That brought back all weak movements back strong.
When we did movement assessment of his foot, I saw he struggled to roll his calcaneus into eversion and was compensating by using his left knee, pelvis and lower back. Which explained why he was having back pain.
We worked on that movement drill and he was feeling much more comfortable afterwards. He will do his homework religiously as you cannot medicate or massage your way out of the needs of your nervous system!

Seen a patient today with pain on the outside of his left thigh and down the outside of the left leg. He also has pain running across his lower back.
Tested him in sitting and he had the sacrospinalis on the left and also bilaterally testing weak. His body never had resources to recruit those movements. When we vetted causation, they were all limbically driven. We went on to vet what exactly was the primary issue. Once we addressed that and provided support for him and his nervous system. The weak movements were now able to respond normally.
I had him walk around to integrate what we had done. He could not feel the discomfort anymore.

When you heal the nervous system, you also heal the physical body!
