The Red Pepper has been publishing this young woman's picture everyday for over five months now stating that she no longer works with them. They do not accuse her of any crimes, misconduct or wrong doing. Even if they did, there are legal mechanisms for addressing such. Running a deliberate and never ending smear campaign to character assassinate the young woman is not one of them. RED Pepper UG's actions amount to oppression, violation of the young woman's dignity, a desperate move to make sure that she never gets another employment and abuse of press freedom. It is also an abuse of the public confidence people have in the Red Pepper. We therefore demand that the Red Pepper ceases these publications henceforth. STAND WITH RHONA

Having defied the Taliban ban on girl child education which almost cost her the gift of life, Ms. Yousafzai stands as a symbol of courageous, fearless and selfless leadership that our time so desperately yearns for.

This unconscionable act was committed by a terrorist group determined to keep these girls from getting an education – grown men attempting to s***f out the aspirations of young girls" - Michelle Obama.
