We are involved in Capacity building for NGOs/PNFPs/CBOs, Government and Development partners using participatory methods and approaches to achieve sustainable development with full participation of Community members to sustain the interventions in homes and community. To meet new development needs of our members and stakeholders from 2010 to date we started restructuring of our organization incre
asing more departments headed by program Coordinators at the head office. We have introduced a new working committee for Private Not for Profit Health centres and Hospitals known as PNFP national committee with regional representatives and district coordinators. In June 2015 we intensified our support to our nonprofit Health Centres and Hospitals after receiving Global Fund and US Presidential Malaria Initiatives Grants in 2016. We have so far supported 170 PNFPs facilities with free RDTs, ACTs and HIV testing Kits, ARVs and Long lasting Insect Treated Nets. This year in partnership with Ministry of Health NTLP we shall integrate T.B CBDOTs program to reduce burden of T.B-MDR,T.B/HIV in our services. This program will be implemented b by our facility based PFNPs and non facility based NGOs/CBOSs pogroms in Uganda. We have made plans to strengthen water and sanitation, hygiene, safe drinking water, routine immunization, maternal child health and family planning to increase community access. With support from USAID/Intra-health strengthening human resources for health we have embarked on human resource development and information system for health workers in our PNFP health centres and hospitals to be able to integrate HRIS data into the Ministry of Health integrated human resource information system (IHRS) for national planning and policy decision making.
