Nakasero Hospital Limited (NHL) opened its doors to outpatient treatment in March of 2009 and in-patient treatment in July of the same year. The main objective of the Hospital was to provide quality medical care to patients and to fill a gap which was created by lack of adequate medical facilities in the country, forcing a number of people to seek medical treatment outside the region. Yesterday 29th May, Nakasero Hospital and AAR Healthcare Uganda hosted Charles Dalton and Silven Chikengezha from the - Finance Corporation for their routine portfolio review.The visit highlighted our ongoing progress, including key updates on operational performance and patient care standards.

The discussion reviewed the plans in place to tap into the available growth opportunities amidst a challenging business environment.

IFC is founded on complete compliance with business ethical standards and the team was glad to note that both businesses have instilled this culture in their business operations across the patient care value chain.
The team then used this opportunity to visit our newly extended theatre, the state-of-the-art ICU/HDU, and the recently launched Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), showcasing our continued investment in improving delivery.
