Universal Health Coverage is only universal when palliative care is accessible to everyone who needs it, when they need it. No one should face serious illness alone or in pain.
On this World UHC Day, and in a year when unaffordable health costs continue to burden our communities, PCAU reaffirms that palliative care is not a luxury but an essential service that upholds dignity, promotes equity, and improves the quality of life for patients and their families.
