UNDERSTANDING FEMALE INF£RTILITY
PL😍
Female inf€rtility refers to the difficulty a woman faces in achieving pr€gnancy after 12 months of regular, unprotected int€rcourse (or 6 months if over 35). It is not a single disease but a condition with multiple possible causes affecting the r€productive system. Many women are surprised to learn that inf€rtility can occur even when m€nstrual cycles seem normal.
Inf€rtility may result from problems with ovul@tion, blocked f@llopian tubes, ut€rine abnormalities, or hormon@l imbalances. In some cases, no clear cause is found, which is known as unexplained inf€rtility. This can be emotionally challenging, but it does not mean pr&gnancy is impossible.
Understanding inf€rtility is the first step toward effective management. Early awareness encourages timely m€dical evaluation, reduces self-blame, and opens the door to appropriate tr€atments and support.
