We conducted home visits for household assessments and offered education on sanitation and hygiene, encouraging families to improve cleanliness and adopt safe health practices. We also held a community health education talk, where we engaged participants in open discussions on HIV prevention, stigma reduction, and sexual and reproductive health rights. At the Alliance for Youths and Adolescents Health (AYAH), we remain committed to empowering our communities through outreach, education, and support—because everyone deserves the knowledge and confidence to lead a healthy, purposeful life.

We are dedicated to empowering our community with accurate information, essential life skills, and support to make informed health decisions. In our recent health education talk, we facilitated open discussions on HIV prevention, stigma reduction, and sexual and reproductive health rights. Through such community outreach efforts, we continue to create safe spaces for learning, dialogue, and transformation—because everyone deserves the knowledge and confidence to lead a healthy, purposeful life.

Being HIV-positive and 6 months pregnant doesn't mean your baby will get HIV. If you take your ART medicine every day and attend your antenatal visits, the chance of passing HIV to your baby is very low. Stay strong and follow your health worker's advice — your baby can be born HIV-free! 💪👶❤️
