We are a level 3 health centre located in Nakitola, Mityana District in Uganda. We are a family-owned facility that has been running since 2021.

We provide a variety of health services.

Depression isn’t just “feeling sad.” It’s a serious mental health condition that sticks around and messes with how you feel, think, and act.

Here’s what it can look like:
💔 Feeling down, empty, or hopeless for weeks
😶 Losing interest in stuff you used to enjoy
😴 Trouble sleeping, feeling tired all the time
😵 Hard to focus, think clearly, or make decisions
🍽️ Eating way more or way less than usual
😣 Feeling worthless, anxious, or just off

👉 It can be caused by things like stress, brain chemistry, family history, health issues, or life challenges.

The good news? Depression is treatable. You don’t have to go through it alone. Talk to someone. Ask for help. You’re not broken — you’re human. 💛

Sickle cell disease causes red blood cells to “sickle” or become banana shaped when they are stressed, and this can make it difficult for them to flow through blood vessels. Normal red blood cells are round and flexible and can move easily through blood vessels, but some of the cells in patients with sickle cell disease become crescent moon shaped and stick to blood vessels. This slows or can stop blood flow through blood vessels, which can cause pain, damage to organs and tissues, or even lead to a stroke.
