📍What would you say to encourage women in business or who wants to: For one, keep God as your foundation. (pray through it all) But also, to never give up on yourself or dreams.
Show up each and every day believing you can be successful.
📍Most influential woman in your life and how did she shape you: My MNL, Ferric (lil mama) Montgomery. She is such a blessing in my life.
Seeing her handle many things each day while still putting God first helped me to do the same.
📍Challenges you faced as a woman and how did you overcome them: Challenges I faced were imposter syndrome (everytime i was ready to have a sale or an event I would get in my head about what if everyone doesn't want to try my sweets) and work-life balance (always working and booking and not having time for myself or family/friends). I overcame imposter syndrome by praying and understanding that not everyone is meant for me and my business, which is okay. I overcame work-life balance by creating a better scheduling system.
📍What inspired you to pursue your current business and what does "walking in purpose" mean to you:
I've always felt I was made to do something in life. When covid hit, life was pretty tough and i would stay in my head about i need to find something i can build/grow and possibly pass down to my future kids. I would pray about it constantly. In highschool, I loved Facs (home ec) class. So one day, my Aunt needed a baby shower cake for her upcoming shower. Something inside of me said I could do it. And I did it! I made my first custom cake. I started my cake business a week later and each day worked on my craft the Lord blessed me with. This is my "walking in purpose" Finding what you're blessed with and showing up for it each and every day no matter what.

📍What would you say to encourage other women that are in business or want to start a business: Just do it now. Seek resources to help you get started. Don’t let fear stifle you.
📍Who was the most influential woman in your life, and how did she shape you? My Mom, she would encourage me to be, do & have everything I wanted (except work as a bartender while in collage😂) She made sacrifices so I could become a registered nurse. Forever grateful for her.
📍What challenges have you faced as a woman, and how did you overcome them? Being told ‘no’. I pray and look for other options.
📍What inspired you to pursue your current career, ministry, or business? I first wanted to ‘lose weight’ and then I realized I can help others too using my Herbalife business. Then the nutrition club (Royal Fit Nutrition) came about. I first thought it was about making shakes and teas but God showed me that it was actually my ministry and a way to connect others to Jesus and connect them to other people.
📍What does “walking in purpose” mean to you? It means doing exactly what God has called me to do, until He tells me to do something else.
