Today is National SLP Day, and during Speech-Language-Hearing Month we would like to acknowledge our Speech-Language Pathologist and Director of Rehabilitation, Lacy!

Lacy brings over 20 years of experience as an SLP in the skilled nursing setting and advocates for the residents she serves each day. Speech-Language Pathologists do so much more in the SNF setting than many people realize. They help residents regain functional independence, improve swallowing function, communicate everything from basic needs to complex ideas, improve cognition and safety awareness, and maintain dignity and connection during challenging times.
