This concludes our week of action. I hope you continue to push our representatives to serve us and our wonderful SC Warrior community. Educate them on our wonderful people because after all we are only seeking to find a cure and assistance in care for it.

Federal Update – Medicaid & Medicare Cuts
Congress and the President are planning massive cuts to Medicaid and Medicare to accommodate a tax break. These cuts will disproportionately impact individuals with sickle cell and other rare diseases. The federal government shutdown deadline is March 14, 2025, if a budget agreement is not reached. We urge you to email, call, and advocate to your federal representatives and leadership to stop these cuts.

What You Can Do
📞 March 11, 2025, at 11 AM – APSCA INC Dial & Email the Feds Hour today take an hour and call and email.
Join us in calling and emailing Maryland representatives to oppose Medicaid and Medicare cuts and push for increased funding for rare disease treatment and research.
📢 Week of March 9, 2025 – Social Media & Community Advocacy
