🧏‍♂️ Could Hearing Loss Be Linked to Dementia? 🧠

Did you know that hearing loss might be connected to cognitive decline? A groundbreaking study called the ACHIEVE Study (Aging and Cognitive Health Evaluation) revealed something incredible!

📊 Key Findings:

Conducted from 2017 to 2020 with 966 participants aged 70-84, all with hearing loss.
Over three years, participants using hearing aids experienced 48% slower cognitive decline compared to those who didn’t.
In fact, without hearing aids, cognitive decline happened twice as fast!
This research, published in The Lancet in 2024, highlights how addressing hearing loss can play a significant role in preserving memory and thinking abilities.
