**WARNING SIGNS OF DEPRESSION**

-Feeling sad, empty, or hopeless most of the day, nearly everyday.
*In children you may see an irritable mood.
-Decreased interest in in all, or almost all meaningful activities.
-Significant weight loss when not dieting or weight gain.
-Decrease in or increase in appetite nearly every day.
*In children, consider failure to make expected weight gain.
-Insomnia or hypersomnia nearly everyday.
-Fatigue or loss of energy nearly everyday.
-Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt.
-Decreased ability to think or concentrate.
-Recurrent thoughts of death, recurrent suicidal ideation without a specific plan, or a su***de attempt or a specific plan to die by su***de.
