💡 Quick Tip When Purchasing Raffle Tickets

We’ve had a few people ask about the donation prompt that appears at checkout when purchasing raffle tickets online.

Our ticket platform, Zeffy, is free for nonprofits to use and helps cover their operating costs by suggesting an optional contribution during checkout.

Just a quick note: that contribution is completely optional. If you prefer, you can simply adjust the amount to $0 before completing your purchase. This does not impact Bethesda Aberdeen or your raffle entry in any way.

If you would rather purchase tickets in person, you are also welcome to stop by the front desk at Bethesda Aberdeen, and our team can help you with your purchase.

🌷 Easter Memories🌷

As we continue sharing Easter memories with our Bethesda Towne Square residents, we’re reminded how traditions—big and small—create moments that last a lifetime.

This week’s memory comes from Betty Gutjahr.

Betty fondly remembers Easter Sundays filled with simple treats like peanuts and candy, and the joy of finding sweets alongside her sister. A special part of the day was always going to church, where they would sit right up front together.

⚾ Happy Opening Day! ⚾

On MLB Opening Day, we’re sharing a story from one of our Bethesda Towne Square residents who knows a thing or two about the game.

When we asked Larry about his favorite childhood memory, he didn’t hesitate. He talked about playing softball from the time he was just a little kid all the way through high school—winning “their fair share” along the way. Baseball stuck with him so much that there’s even a baseball field named after him in his hometown.

Seems only fitting to celebrate Opening Day with someone who truly left his mark on the game. ⚾👏
