We are thrilled to officially introduce Amy Cox, our second P4 pharmacy intern. Amy is a 4th-year PharmD candidate at the TTUHSC Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy. She enjoys reading, traveling with her husband, and spending quality time with their 3 dogs and their sweet foster puppy. Her goal after graduating is to work in retail pharmacy, whether that be chain or independent. We would like to welcome Amy to our team for the next 4 weeks (she’s already been with us for 2)! The pharmacy will be closed on Monday, August 25th from 9:30 to 11:30am for the funeral services of J.D. King. Our deepest condolences go out to Mark King and Laurie King, who served the Abernathy community for 27 years at King Pharmacy.

Idalou - J.D. King, age 91, passed away on August 20, 2025, at his home in Lubbock County. Funeral services will be held at 1000AM, on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Becton Cemetery with Pastor Ted Wilson officiating. Open visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from
