Kristin Fiedler is a board-certified physician assistant born and raised in Wisconsin. She has always had a passion for exercise and choosing a healthy lifestyle. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in Kinesiology and went on to attend Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago to earn her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Practice.
She started her career as a surgical physician assistant at the Cleveland Clinic, first assisting in mostly orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, and plastics cases. She then worked in private practice orthopedics, where she was introduced to OrthoBiologics and the benefits they can provide to patients in improving pain and helping to avoid surgeries. Kristin then worked in neurosurgery for a year again at the Cleveland Clinic before moving to Abilene, Texas with her husband. Throughout her surgical career she has seen the debilitating effects of steroids, narcotics, and chronic pain on patients' wellbeing. Kristin is excited to help bring the innovative field of regenerative medicine to Abilene.
