ACU A&E alumni should read and share. This contains an in-depth the story of the Aggie Club Outreach to Medina Children's Home that ended in multiple injuries and a fatality. God's hand and the Church was present on the remote highway, on campus, and with His people that day. God bless the A&E department and all the individuals doing God's work.

Funding is available through the Environmental Quality Incentive Program, which provides financial and technical assistance to agricultural producers to address natural resource concerns and deliver environmental benefits. Professional resource conservationists with the NRCS can visit with landowners about practices such as grazing deferment, cross fencing, reseeding and water development that are effective post-fire strategies to help reduce erosion.

On Jan. 1, 2022, the USDA implemented a new U.S. bioengineered food disclosure standard. Shoppers are seeing labels on food products with the terms “bioengineered” or “derived from bioengineering” printed on a green seal with the sun shining down on cropland.

More than 90% of U.S.-grown corn, soybeans and sugar beets are genetically modified. This means that many processed foods containing high-fructose corn syrup, beet sugar or soy protein may fall under the new disclosure standard. Other whole foods on the USDA’s list of bioengineered foods, such as certain types of eggplant, potatoes and apples, may have to carry labels as well.
