What a year 2025 has been for Milk + Honey Nursing✨

As we continue to grow, we are refining our approach with intention and care.

Beginning soon, our in-home newborn night care will be scheduled shift by shift, with families booking up to three shifts at a time, rather than extended weekly blocks. Advance booking remains available and encouraged.

This thoughtful change comes from three years of experience—learning what best serves newborns, supports families during their most delicate season, and sustains the exceptional nurses who provide this level of care.

Availability will be limited throughout the year, but we are didicated to serving as many families as our team is able.

It is a true honor to be invited into these quiet, sacred nights. We look forward to serving even more families in 2026 🤍

Ever wonder how long your little one should be awake between naps? That sweet spot is called a wake window — and it’s the secret to avoiding overtired meltdowns and helping your baby sleep better. 💤

💡 Newborns can only handle short stretches awake (sometimes just 30 minutes!), and as they grow, their wake windows slowly lengthen. Knowing these ranges helps you find the rhythm that works best for your baby.

👋🏻 My name is Alex Green, BSN-RN, the owner of Milk + Honey Concierge Nursing! We are a group of RN’s, specializing in postpartum and newborn care in Abilene, Texas. M+H was born out out of a God-whisper and the drive to help mamas in one of their most vulnerable, beautiful, exhausting, exhilarating, but often times most difficult season of motherhood — the postpartum season. Having experienced my own severe postpartum depression, I know the loneliness that can also accompany so much joy, and the “I have to do it all myself” mentality that our world piles onto a mama’s shoulders.
