Poor sleep linked to sleep-disordered breathing has lifelong consequences. Adults suffering from sleep-disordered breathing are 140% more likely to have cardiovascular disease, 60% more likely to have a stroke, and 30% more likely to have coronary heart disease. By correcting SDB, we can greatly reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in adults. 🙌
Children with SDB have a much higher chance than those without to develop behavioral issues such as ADHD. More importantly, ADHD symptoms improve and even resolve by treating SDB. By increasing oxygen levels with proper positioning during sleep, at pivotal developmental stages, we see improvements in child behavior, focus, memory, concentration, cognition, energy, mood, and school grades.
We’re here to help our patients breathe better and sleep better! 😊
