Our MHFA Outreach Coordinator, Sandra Lang, attended the Lone Star Summit in Austin on January 8–9, alongside outreach workers from LMHAs across Texas.

The summit provided a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate, and—most importantly—share ideas on strengthening Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) education statewide.

MHFA continues to expand across Texas, and in FY25, 68,549 participants were trained through LMHAs across the state.
