Employees had an "egg-cellent" time seeing the Easter Bunny!

After hopping from our campuses in Abilene and Brownwood, the Easter Bunny needed a break, too. A visit with the therapy dogs in training that Hendrick Health employees help socialize in partnership with Canine Companions and Hardin-Simmons University was the perfect prescription!

Donate at our community and employee blood drive Tuesday and Wednesday, March 31 – April 1, and receive a new baseball T-shirt, a treat from Chick-fil-A and a Crumbl cookie.

The drive will be inside Hendrick Medical Center (1900 Pine Street) in the Tom Roberts Conference Center, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days. Donors can enter the main entrance and proceed to the second floor using the stairs or elevators.

Hendrick Regional Blood Center (1701 Pine Street) will be closed during the drive. Normal business hours will resume on Thursday, April 2.

Earlier today, we celebrated the official opening of the Hendrick Gastroenterology Center in Abilene with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. The state-of-the-art facility at 1750 Pine Street provides expanded access to advanced gastroenterological services, combining GI clinic visits and endoscopy procedures in a single, modern location.

The consolidation of these services in the 23,493-square-foot center is designed to promote continuity of care and enhance the overall patient experience.
