We are proud to have all the high caliber professionals at Air Evac 63 who do their job with a level of expertise that is unmatched, day in and day out. The continuous training that each member of our team recieves both monthly and quarterly, allows them to stay abreast of the latest changes in medicine and technology.
The training is second nature to them when seconds count for lifesaving measures. When the tones go off, they truly are the best thing to happen to a patient when the patient is having the worst day of their life.
Air Evac Lifeteam 63 is honored to share with everyone, two of the American Ambulance Association (AAA) Stars of Life Recipients for 2025.

STARS of LIFE
An annual celebration that recognizes the extraordinary service of paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and mobile healthcare providers.
The 2025 Stars of Life program, hosted by the American Ambulance Association (AAA), honored 147 EMS professionals from across the United States for their service, with a national celebration in Washington, D.C. from November 3–5, 2025.
What the Stars of Life represent
• Dedication and compassion:
Honorees are recognized for their unwavering commitment and compassion in their communities through their profession.
• Exemplary service:
The awards highlight those who have gone above and beyond, whether through life-saving interventions or other community-focused efforts.
• Advocacy:
The national event provides a platform for EMS professionals to speak directly with legislators about the challenges and successes of their work.
The Honorees shared their experience.
The first event was a GMR banquet where they had a social hour to meet and greet with other recipients as well as GMR Executives, followed by an awards ceremony with all the Executives. Each person recieved the Star of Life medal.
The following day the recipients met with the AAA representatives to meet their host for capital hill meetings!
The next day they had meetings with legislators and aids at Capital Hill. Missy and Marc met with John Cornyn's aid to share their experiences and advocate for the EMS field. Following the meetings, they had a reception with the executives followed by the GMR Stars of Life photo.
The last night began with a social hour filled by the AAA banquet where each recipient was recognized individually with their awards.
Congratulations, Missy and Marc, as the Newest members of the Stars of Life from the Big Country!! We are proud to have you on our team!!
