There are two things in life for which we are never fully prepared: twins.
This mother did an absolutely amazing job bringing her identical twins to earthside, and now we are so in awe of how she is doing postpartum! Life with newborn nursing twins can be very chaotic, and she is an inspiration!

Birth is a mother and baby learning together how to push and how to be born, how to yield and separate from the union of pregnancy. During labor the mother is neither in control nor out of control.
This baby had his own ideas of how to come out and his mother labored calmly and confidently to birth her baby. And it was beautiful!

While a healthy mother and a healthy baby are of utmost importance, there is also much room for more. We can strive to add happy, non-traumatized, empowered, and overjoyed mother and baby.
This mother planned and prepared for every conceivable situation and outcome. Because of this, she was able to completely relax into labor and had an amazingly beautiful home birth.

This was a suddenly fast birth that showed the mother just how strong she is! I told her that I was so proud of her and she replied that she was really proud of herself, too!
