Lymphedema Management It results from a blockage of your lymphatic system, which is also part of the immune system.

We offer Manual Lymph Drainage, compression wrapping, exercise programs to improve stimulation of the Lymphatic System, measuring and fitting of compression garments. Lymphedema refers to swelling that generally occurs in one or both of upper extremities or even one or both lower extremities Lymphedema is most commonly caused by the removal of or damage to lymph nodes as part of cancer treatment.

This blockage prevents lymphatic fluid from draining to the affected area, and the fluid builds up thus leading to swelling. While there is currently no cure, lymphedema can be managed with early diagnosis and diligent care of your affected limb from a Certified Lymphedema Therapist
