To our neighbors, friends, and families,
We know many of you are facing bitter cold temperatures and unexpected power outages. In moments like these, the strength of our community truly shines. Let’s continue to look out for one another and make sure no one feels alone during this stretch of harsh weather.
A few simple ways we can support each other:
• Check in on those around you — a quick call or knock on the door can mean the world to someone without heat or power.
• Share what you can — blankets, warm drinks, flashlights, or even a warm place to sit for a while.
• Keep pets and outdoor animals safe by bringing them inside or providing extra bedding.
• Stay warm safely by using approved heating sources and avoiding anything that could create fire or carbon monoxide risks.
• If you have power, consider helping neighbors charge phones or medical devices.
• If you’re without power, bundle up in layers, close off unused rooms, and insulate windows and doors with towels or blankets.
Our community has always been built on compassion and connection. Even small acts of kindness can make a big difference right now. We’re holding everyone close in our thoughts and hoping for quick restoration of power and warmth for all.
Stay safe, stay warm, and let’s continue to take care of each other.
