We need around 15 more shirts ordered to meet our minimum order requirements.

If you want a Bradley Street tee or sweatshirt with art from our kiddos, you have until midnight on Friday to order. Please grab one and help us make updates to our outdoor play areas!!!

We would love to deck out our community in Bradley Street Playschool gear while helping to raise funds for playground upgrades. We hope to install some more shade in our yard area, give the porch some sprucing, and add some fresh sand to the sandbox!

ONE WHOLE YEAR OF THE BRADLEY STREET PLAYSCHOOL!!

Can you believe it?! I find myself overwhelmed by the blessing it is to watch these little minds and hearts learn and grow each day. It has been a year of growth for all of us- often messy, occasionally stressful, always full of promise.

Happy Anniversary friends! We are so thankful for your support and to be in community with you. 💙💙💙

🧚🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️It was such a wonderful day for a roundel and a fairy song!

The first day of summer is fantastic for celebrating all of our friends with summer birthdays- with a fairy themed festival!

We loved seeing all the fairies dancing in our yard, playing with bubbles, and tasting fairy cakes and fruit. Happy solstice and birthdays, friends!! 🧚🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️

One thing you will rarely see here on Bradley Street is a weekly specific theme. Because we are a child-led school, we prefer to focus on children’s interests- which are meaningful to them and more encouraging of their attention.

This often takes the form of project approaches in our classrooms. Child-led projects encourage intrinsic motivation and draw children into deep inquiry. This process helps children find answers to their own questions through authentic, age appropriate exploration and experiences. We work with the children to document their findings and commentary to create reflective and respectful evidence of our learning.

Thank you so much to the Abingdon Garden Club for coming to sow seeds and teach us about radishes and our gardens this morning!! We had so much fun and are so excited to watch our seeds grow- just like us! We are so thankful to be your neighbors!!

The updated mud kitchen has drawn so many friends in this week. Writing recipes, adjusting volumes, imagining meals together, checking on our bean seeds…
Areas where children are allowed to make a mess and direct their own sensory, imaginary, social, and math experiences facilitate exploration and draw them into concepts through play. AND give us so much JOY!!!

Hi everyone,

Ms. Hannah here. May marks one year since The Bradley Street Playschool dream started taking shape into reality. Our little school would not be here without the amazing community surrounding us. I am so thankful to the tireless teams at People Incorporated and others who helped this teacher step into what my kids call "business lady shoes"!!

I am also thankful to our brilliant, compassionate, hard-working teachers- without whom we would be lost! These women show up every day for the children in our care and work tirelessly to give them the best opportunities to explore their curiosities, share in community, and find so much joy in the learning we do together each day.

I can't wait to see all of the childhood magic we create together from here. Thank you to all of you for growing right alongside us.
