This study by Annals of Internal Medicine determined that there was no correlation between ASD and vaccines. It determined that the vaccinated population had a decreased incidence of Autism.

In recent years immunization compliance has had a decline likely due to misinformation in our media. However, here at Highlands Pediatrics we intend to provide safe and ethical treatment.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), clinics are discouraged to dismiss patients based on vaccination status alone. Instead, it is recommended that each family is provided safe, educational support.

Starting next week, we will be launching Bre’s Corner. An educational series designed by our nurse practitioner. Each week we will cover a specific vaccination, its disease, symptoms and complications. This is designed for educational purposes based on AAP guidelines and evidenced-based research studies.

Thank you for allowing us to share this important information and provide care to your children!

We are accepting new patients!
