In order to help stop the spread and protect myself and my clients, I will be sending out a checklist when confirming appointments. If you answer Yes to any of the following I will reschedule your appointment for a later date.
COVID-19 SCREENING CHECKLIST
Screening Questions:
1. Have you had a diagnosis or have been in close contact with someone with a diagnosis of COVID-19 in the last 24 days?
2. Have you traveled out of the country or state within the past 24 days?
3. Have you or anyone in your household had any of the following symptoms in the last 21 days: sore throat, cough, chills, diarrhea, body aches for unknown reasons, shortness of breath for unknown reasons, loss of smell, loss of taste, fever at or greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit?
Isolation Guidelines - People with COVID-19 should be isolated for at least 10 days after symptom onset and until 24 hours after their fever subsides without the use of fever-reducing medications.
The state of Tennessee is now increasing the amount of time a person needs to spend in quarantine if someone they live with has tested positive for COVID-19. Tennessee health leaders are now requiring everyone in the house to quarantine for at least 24 days, including those who test negative for the virus. Dr. David Aronoff with Vanderbilt’s Medical Center says a COVID patient is contagious for 10 days. Then the two-week quarantine should happen after that period.
Thank you for your cooperation as we get through this together!
