I unfortunately had to deliver this news to two of my students yesterday and one that worked for twisters along with me. It broke her heart … I assumed they would have heard but didn’t and it hurt me to have to be the bearer of bad news. I would like to share this for all of my former Twisters students.
I worked for Toby and his wife Tricia for 10 years. I actually took my absolute first yoga class in their studio and completed my second training with them. I taught my first yoga class in their beautiful abler studio! They are the reason I own a studio right now. Working for twisters is something I still miss to this day. They were the people that gave me a platform to begin my new career. They always let us teach to what made us comfortable and let all of us be ourselves. That is something my industry lacks when you are an instructor. They were some of the most ethical and professional bosses and kindest and hospitable friends . They treated us like family. They were the first of many studios to trust me with running things that taught me skills I need everyday in my own business and they set an example that was top knotch. Toby was funny and caring and so characteristic with all of us and always had an awesome link to an obscure recording of blues band featuring The Rolling Stones for me! My heart goes out to Trish and the girls and I wanted to share this information for any students who would like to attend
