📸 Throwback Thursday — Dominican Republic Edition 🇩🇴

My first international wedding and what a way to start…
PJ told me straight up, “I want all candids.” And listen… he’s a big guy, I wasn’t about to upset the groom on his wedding day 😅 — so we stayed moving and catching moments all weekend.

Their whole crew came down from New York, so you already know the party was NON. STOP. 💃🏽🕺🏽
I even brought my wife… before she was my wife ❤️ (yeah, that part still makes me smile).

After the ceremony we had 12 minutes on the beach before the sun disappeared, and we made every single second count. No long poses, just real love, real energy, real memories.

Fun times… but more than that, a reminder that some of the best images come from trusting the moment and letting the story unfold.
That’s the DSQ way.

This was my first iconic wedding—the Laguerre Wedding at The Merion in New Jersey.

I’ll be honest… I was nervous. My first big wedding, big room, big energy. But Louis and his bride Erica carried the night with pure style, love, and charisma. They didn’t just walk into the room—they set the tone.

Louis showed up in shades. Cool, confident, effortless. The mystery was undeniable… even if Erica wasn’t a fan of the mystery 😄. That balance—edge and elegance, personality and love—is what made this day unforgettable.

This wedding taught me something early on: when the couple trusts the moment and shows up as themselves, the story tells itself. I just had to be ready to catch it.
