🐾 Therapy dogs always bring smiles wherever they go! Through our Program for Nurse Well-Being, Millie and her dad Alex, and therapy dog Scotty, recently visited Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, spreading comfort and joy to our colleagues.

After their visit, Alex and Millie took a relaxing walk along the Jefferson Torresdale Walking Trail — the perfect way to unwind after a day of sharing happiness. 💙🐶

On October 10th, we came together to celebrate World Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness and supporting one another’s well-being.

It was amazing to see our Torresdale community connect, share, and learn more about the well-being resources available on campus, from counselling services to mindfulness activities and peer support programs.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day so meaningful. Let’s keep prioritizing mental health, not just on World Mental Health Day, but every day.

🌿🚶‍♀️ At Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, wellness is just a few steps away!

Created through the collaboration of Heather Karpinski, Lead Monitor Tech, and Kimberly Primavera, MA, SKCCC Navigator, with support from our Employee Advisory Group (EAG) and funding from the Program for Nurse Well-Being, the Walking Trail offers colleagues a refreshing way to recharge during the day.

This 10–15 minute path gives staff the chance to get outside, experience nature, and take a mindful break. Along the way, motivational signs provide encouragement to keep colleagues inspired and moving forward.

Here’s to walking, recharging, and caring for ourselves—one step at a time. 💙

Our Program for Nurse Well-being visited our nightshift team at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital last week to make sure our nightshift crew get love, laughter, and connection. Our leadership rounds are about showing up, checking in, and making sure every team member feels included and appreciated, no matter the hour.
