Did you know...
👉More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's
👉1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia. It kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.
👉The lifetime risk for Alzheimer’s at age 45 is 1 in 5 for women and 1 in 10 for men.
👉Between 2020 and 2030, 1.2 million additional direct care workers will be needed to care for the growing population of people living with dementia — the largest worker gap in the U.S.
👉In 2023, Alzheimer’s and other dementias will cost the nation $345 billion. By 2050, these costs could rise to nearly $1 trillion.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Minsoo Kim to ANA!

Dr. Minsoo Kim is a board-certified neurologist specializing in neuromuscular medicine. After earning his medical degree from the Medical School for International Health (a collaboration between Ben-Gurion University in Israel and Columbia University), he completed a Neurology Residency at Saint Louis University, followed by a Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.

His professional journey has taken him from Washington to Ohio and then to Reston, Virginia, where he recently practiced at the Virginia Spine Institute. With extensive training and experience across diverse clinical settings, Dr. Kim is skilled in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, including nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), Botox injections, and management of complex neuromuscular disorders.

Dr. Kim’s research and clinical interests are showcased in multiple peer-reviewed publications and posters, particularly relating to small fiber neuropathy in pediatric populations. Dr. Kim served as a sub-investigator in five clinical trials that involved ALS, CMT, FSHD, inflammatory myositis, and dermatomyositis. He has coauthored articles in the Journal of Clinical Neuromuscular Disease and presented his work at esteemed conferences such as the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Our Story

We have been a member of the Abington community for more than 53 years now. The practice was started in 1966 by Dr. Albert D. Wagman, who partnered with Dr. B. Franklin Diamond to create Abington Neurological Associates (ANA), the Abington Stroke Center, and the Sleep Disorders Center. Since those early years, ANA has grown into one of the largest private neurology practices in Montgomery and Bucks County. If you need to make an appointment, please call us at 215-957-9250.

Since our research center opened in 2009, we have conducted over 70 clinical trials with the help of more than 350 participants. This work is more important than ever: for example, 280,000 Pennsylvanians have Alzheimer’s, and this number is projected to rise to 320,000 by 2025. Clinical trials provide a path to treatments for this disease. Please contact our Clinical Trials Research Office if you are interested in learning more information about any of the trials that we offer at (215) 957-9250.
