Today is the day! We are taking to the streets of with the first ever Glenside St. Patrick’s Day Association Parade and Festival!

Keep your eyes peeled for your favorite funeral directors! We are honored to be escorting this year’s grand marshal, Rosemarie Timoney in our inaugural parade and announcing participants as they arrive at Donegal Stage! Also, be sure to visit Laura Kiefer Haggerty and Timothy McLoone at the beer booth for a beverage!

Due to the recent fire at SPS and the closure of Highland Ave, we’ve made a necessary adjustment to the Glenside St. Patrick’s Day Parade route. While this change was unavoidable, we’re still looking forward to an incredible celebration and hope to see everyone there!

Each and every day countless first responders help with emergencies of all kinds, many of which we never hear about.

Unfortunately, the Glenside community endured a substantial one last evening when SPS Technologies endured a devastating fire. It’s been a fixture in Glenside for over a century and our thoughts are directed to their staff during this time.

While this hits close to home for many, if not for the brave individuals who responded in moments and fought the flames all night long, things could have been much worse. We are beyond grateful to share that there were no fatalities or injuries reported.

To say thank you doesn’t seem like nearly enough, however we believe we speak for many in expressing our deepest gratitude for the first responders who keep us safe and put their lives on the line for their communities every day.
