When an OT or PT becomes a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), they dedicate their profession to the artful science focused on the rehabilitation of the movement and function of the Upper Limb. The hand certification is the only internationally recognized advanced certification for occupational and physical therapists. The HTCC reports that there are only 5900 CHT's world-wide today. The Hands Plus family of Clinics currently has largest staff of CHT's and Hand Therapists North of Los Angeles.
