Today in the office, I was adjusting a mama and her baby while my own newborn was along for the ride. Her older child was playing nearby, my baby started crying, her baby was fussing, and she asked if we could pause so she could nurse. I smiled and said, “Do you mind if I do the same?”
So we pulled up chairs and sat together—two mamas, two hungry babies—nursing while I gently took her history before her first adjustment. It was such a simple, beautiful moment. Real life. Real motherhood. Real connection.
This is the kind of space I dreamed of creating for families. And I’m so grateful to live it. 💛

Life lately: babies, breastfeeding wins, and... baseboards 😅🛠️

While we finish building out my new basement office (yay!), I’ve set up a cozy little spot in the front entryway of our home to keep seeing mamas and babies who need care 💛

Yes, the walls are unfinished, the yard’s a mess, and the renovation chaos is real — but the care is still so good and the love is still here 💆‍♀️👶

Thanks for your patience and for cheering me on in this wild season — I’m so grateful to keep doing this work, even if it’s a little dusty 💫

5/25/2025 our sweet boy Lucas surprised us by arriving 18 days early and faster than the midwife could drive!
We planned a homebirth with a midwife but sweet Lucas decided he was coming with or without her and Hernando and I birthed him at home alone at 10.29pm on the floor of my bedroom while big brother Elias slept peacefully in the room next door! 90 mins of active labor and born en caul into the hands of his father.
