In honor of World Laughter Day/a first Day of Mental Health Awareness Month:

We aren’t normally the type to celebrate all these random holidays, but this one seems important.

Tell someone you love them. Tell someone you appreciate them. Tell someone you’re sorry. Tell a stranger they look cute today. Reach out to someone you haven’t in a while. You never know when someone is at the end of their rope and needs just a simple encouraging word from another human.

Let me tell you a quick-ish story—I recently felt the urge to upgrade my LinkedIn profile pic game with some fresh, professional headshots. Feeling a little adventurous, I decided to dip my toe into the world of AI-generated headshots that have been flooding my social media (big ups to those marketing teams 😉). After a bit of YouTube surfing, I landed on AI Headshots, following the profound wisdom of said YouTube influencers.

So, next I scrolled through my collection of selfies (you know you have one, too 😂) and clicked the “See Your Headshots” button, on pins and needles. And let me tell you, I was genuinely impressed! ツ They looked refined, almost as if I had splurged on a pricey photoshoot and some expert retouching. Yet, they still captured the essence of me, just without most of the age appropriate wear and tear (thank goodness😅). Thankfully, there weren’t any wonky ears or mutant hands in sight either! 👽 Long story short, I’m giving them two big enthusiastic thumbs-up!
