March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month đź’š

This month is a time to recognize, celebrate, and support individuals and families living with cerebral palsy.

At Beyond Limits Pediatric Therapy, we are honored to work with amazing children and families every day who inspire us with their strength, determination, and progress.

Cerebral palsy affects movement, balance, and posture, but with the right support and therapy, children can continue to grow, develop skills, and reach meaningful milestones.

📢 Important Update for Our Speech Families

Beginning in 2027, the long-standing comprehensive speech therapy billing code (CPT 92507) is slated to be replaced with multiple separate, timed codes divided by treatment area (articulation, language, cognition, AAC, etc.).

Why does this matter?

Speech therapy sessions are dynamic and individualized. Even when a session is planned around one goal, therapy often naturally integrates multiple skills within the same visit.

The proposed change could require therapy to be separated into strict categories, which does not fully reflect how speech therapy is delivered in real-world clinical practice.

On March 6, the American Medical Association (AMA) will open a public comment period.

Parents and community members are allowed to submit comments.

If you believe therapy should remain flexible, integrated, and responsive to your child’s needs, we encourage you to consider sharing your perspective once the portal opens.

We will share clear instructions and a direct link when available.

Beyond Limits is actively monitoring this issue and participating in professional advocacy efforts. Our commitment to your children remains unwavering.
