One of the biggest challenges we’ve faced at WellWay hasn’t been service quality. It’s been availability.

When families and hospitals call us, they often need transportation quickly. There have been times our schedule was simply full, and that’s something we’ve been working hard to fix.

We’re excited to share that WellWay has added another wheelchair-accessible vehicle to the fleet. This gives us much more flexibility with scheduling and helps us be there when people need us most.

It also allows us to continue expanding our service into North Fulton, alongside our core areas in Cobb and Cherokee.

Our plan is to add more vehicles throughout the year. But we’re going to grow the right way. Slow enough to make sure our quality, reliability, and service stay exactly where they should be.

We’re proud to maintain a near perfect track record for punctual pickups and dependable service, and that will always come first.

Cobb & Cherokee Counties
Potential to grow into Full-Time

WellWay is looking for a reliable, physically capable professional to join our team.

Schedule:
• 1–2 weekdays
• Weekend availability required
• Flexibility to occasionally cover shifts

Reliability is non-negotiable.
We have very low tolerance for lateness or frequent call-outs. Our clients depend on us for critical medical appointments.

This role requires safely assisting 200–300 lb individuals in wheelchairs, working on ramps, and helping with transfers. You must be calm, professional, and confident in hands-on situations.

Former EMTs, firefighters, CNAs, or those with direct patient care experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Today marks six years since my father passed.

His life and the challenges he faced with mobility are the reason WellWay exists. Experiencing firsthand how difficult and impersonal transportation can be showed me how important dignity, reliability, and genuine care truly are.

Every ride we provide is done with him in mind. His legacy lives on through the way we serve our clients and their families every single day.

Tuesday night’s Christmas party for the Northside Cherokee Care Coordinators was something we were grateful to support. Every time we work with this team, the experience is smooth because the people calling in are kind, knowledgeable, and always advocating for their patients.

It was great to see them recognized, and we want to thank the other sponsors who helped make the night come together. Proud to support a group that shows up for their community every single day.

Today I want to share a milestone that means a lot to me. WellWay just reached 100 five star reviews. For a small company like ours, that feels huge.

This all started with my father. After his spinal surgery, he was wheelchair bound, and we dealt with terrible transportation experiences. Missed appointments, unreliable companies, dirty vehicles, and people who treated him like he did not matter. I built WellWay to be the service he should have had and something he would have been proud of.

In the beginning, I would have been grateful just to have one person trust us. Even the idea of doing 15 or 20 rides a month felt out of reach. Now we have completed more than 1,000 trips and our focus has stayed the same. Improve lives one ride at a time and treat every person the way I wanted my own father to be treated.

We are not perfect, but I am proud of what we have built. I am even more grateful for the people who helped us get here. Our community, referral partners, friends, family, and my wife and kids have carried us further than they know.

In a year and a half we have kept a 100 percent on time pickup rate, never left anyone stranded, and earned 100 individual five star reviews. That happened because people believed in our mission.

Thank you to everyone who has supported WellWay. No matter how big we become or how small we remain, I am grateful we can serve families with the level of care my father deserved.
